In Need of Help with Jedit at home

I have successfully downloaded all of the programs from the class website that I need to work with the Oracle database at home. The problem I am running into is with connecting to the FTP secure server through Jedit. I enter all of the information in correctly and I get a message saying: 1/0 Error; The following 1/0 operation could not be completed; cannot list directory: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect. If someone can help me to solve this problem I would appreciate it.

Also the first time you attempt to connect to the FTP secure server you need to first go to pluggins, pluggins manager and select FTP from the list.
